INTRODUCTION:

UPVC True Union Diaphragm Valve is a specialized shut-off valve designed for systems requiring precise flow control or the management of internal fluid pressure or back pressure. The diaphragm valve operates using an elastic diaphragm and a herringbone flow channel. The diaphragm is attached to the compression mechanism with bolts and controlled by the valve stem, which moves the compression member up and down. When the compression mechanism rises, the diaphragm opens, allowing fluid to pass. Conversely, when the compression mechanism lowers, the diaphragm closes off the flow.

Destar's diaphragm valves are made from high-quality thermoplastic materials such as EPDM, FPM, or PTFE, which offer resistance to stretching, creep, and wear. These materials, combined with one-time molding of the diaphragm, ensure precise sizing and long-lasting tightness, enhancing the valve’s service life.
